Zhenya Gimer

Bio

A jazz musician, pianist, clarinetist, improviser and musical director of Helsinki (Finland).

Gimer acts in clubs mainly in Helsinki and Stockholm, but also in the United States.

His skills inlcudes not only being as an artist but also as a conductor who carries the listener to a golden age of American jazz. He has played with jazz legend Dave Brubeck, has been in contact with the owners of a dozen Grammy Awards "Manhattan Transfer", Frank Foster Big Band, Ted Curson, Ritchie Cole. Equally brilliantly performs solo or with his own quartet.
